Nokia C7 from 701, and the screen is to upgrade or demotion?

This August, in Hong Kong I actually saw The nokia 701 release, at The time, The bench with "The most bright (The brightest)" of The AD copy.

Only from the appearance look, 701 is the pure C7 upgrade edition: improve the physical button handle, improved after the edges and shell material. Its hardware configuration is also a generation: the CPU into 1 GHz, camera into 8 million pixels.

However, for many consumers most of tangled is screen:

The C7 AMOLED screen is 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 resolution

701 is a 3.5-inch IPS LCD screen, the resolution of 640 x 360, contains Clear Black Display technology

From the manufacturing costs and source for say, wm8650 custom rom IPS LCD prices may be a little low, nokia is not willing to subject to their rivals (samsung is AMOLED manufacturing large).
